Today was the PEI Marathon and I ran a 1/2 Marathon (21kms) with a group of friends. And what a great day! This Post aims to report some lessons from this and benefits of running in hopes to inspire others to be inspired to run (or run more). Yesterday, I watched a documentary on “the Iceman”, this strange/fascinating 50 year old Dutch man who defies what we think we know about physiology. The man, Wim Hof, holds 20 Guiness records and has defied science by being able to be submerge for almost 2 hours in ice, WITHOUT change to his body temperature. I am VERY intrigued.
